We weren't able to do this walk on February 28 when it was first scheduled because of the extremely high winds on that day, so we'll try again next Sunday, March 28.

We'll start off from the RER B station in Antony, hiking through the Bois de Verrières, to Bièvres, then Jouy en Josas. If we feel up to it and depending on the weather, we can continue on to Versailles or Viroflay as we'll be walking near a train line for the last part.

Our train, named PEPE, direction St-Remy, leaves Chatelet at 10h11 and arrives in Antony at 10h 31. We'll meet either in front of the 3rd train car to the last on the platform at Chatelet or in front of the Antony RER station on the Place Rene Cassin (take the exit near the middle of the train in Antony).

To come back to Paris, trains run from Bièvres or Jouy to Versailles and from there to Montparnasse every half an hour.

If we walk just to Bièvres, the hike will be about 12 kms long, to Jouy en Josas, about 16 kms, so 3 to 4 or 5 hours long.

Bring a picnic lunch as usual, and don't buy a ticket in advance.
