Wine Tasting - Friday, May 14, 2010 – 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Paris 6
We’ll look at the special techniques (nosing, slurping and gurgling!) for tasting wine: how to capture different and subtle flavors and the same time feel multiple sensations in the mouth. And then we’ll try to describe them. The aim of this tasting is to enable us to experience what is, for example, softness and sharpness, to describe the sensations using professional terms and, finally to judge a wine objectively. We’ll be tasting 6 wines, all classics. Our wine specialist comes from Le Musée du Vin in Paris. In English. 26 euros per person.
