The Chamber Orchestra of Europe will be under the direction of Ivan Fischer and featuring the young prodigy Julia Fischer on violin in a program featuring Rossini’s “Ouverture de l'Italienne à Alger” and “Variations pour instruments obliges,” Mendelssohn’s Second Concerto for violin, and Franz Schubert’s Symphony N° 5 .
