Friends or family coming from the US? Paris has many excellent rental agencies and short-term apartment rental listing sites, but our unique and handy service is: once the search has been narrowed to several good prospects and it’s time to check them out, we’ll do the legwork. You provide us with the rental contact information, and for a small fee, Paris CheckOut will go look, take photos inside and of the immediate vicinity, compare the actual to the listing description, and send you a candid and objective report by email. We also have a growing inventory of previously checked out vacation rentals.

Cité de la Musique
La Chambre Philharmonique
If you love violin music, you will treasure listening to Isabelle Faust, a French resident born in 1972 in Germany - one of today’s most prominent young violinists.
As the New York Times enthuses: “Her sound has passion, grit and electricity but also a disarming warmth and sweetness that can unveil the music’s hidden strains of lyricism."
Performing internationally with chamber ensembles and major orchestras, Isabelle has made award-winning recordings of violin masterpieces ranging from JS Bach, Beethoven and Brahms to Fauré, Debussy and Dvorak.
You will wish that her superb performance of Mozart's 5th Violin Concerto in A major (Turkish), K. 219, 1775, with two adagios, could last all evening. The program begins with two of Haydn's symphonies - La Poule, and L'Ours, with conductor Emmanuel Krivine's La Chambre Philharmonique, which he created with first musicians from various orchestras playing period instruments.
PAN has purchased a limited number of group-rate tickets at 20€.
