“In the Steps of the Painter”: Walking visit of Montmartre - Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 3 pm

Up to the beginning of the 20th century, Montmartre was THE place for an artist in "Belle Epoque" Paris, the village being much less urbanised than it is today. Let's follow in the steps of Edouard Manet, Vincent Van Gogh, Auguste Renoir, Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, Edgar Degas, Pablo Picasso and others. We will go from the boulevard where all the cafés and famous cabarets are to the top of the hill on small streets with signs of the former bohemian lifestyle of the artists, such as the Bateau Lavoir ateliers.

Visit in English, 10€ for PAN members, 12 € for non members.

Wine Tasting: Jura region - Friday, May 18, 2012 – 6:30 to 8:30 pm

Paris 7
Located between Burgundy and Switzerland, this cool climate wine region, the smallest in surface in France and undoubtedly also the most complicated, produces wines with some similarity to Burgundy. Jura wines are distinctive and unusual wines, made from grape varieties such as Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau, and Chardonnay. We will be tasting our usual 5 or 6 bottles, guided by our wine expert whom we met originally on a tour at the Musée du Vin in Paris.
30€ per person.
